Aoyuan Acquires 67% Equity Interest in Shanghai Yayuan Hotel at RMB200 million

Develops a High-end Leisure and Senior Care Project to Strengthen Aoyuan"s Region Layout in the Yangtze River Delta

  (16 February, 2015 – Hong Kong) China Aoyuan Property Group Limited ("Aoyuan" or the "Company", Stock Code: 3883), a renowned property developer in China, is pleased to announce that the Company has acquired 67% equity interest in Shanghai Yayuan Garden Resort Hotel ("Shanghai Yayuan Hotel") by way of capital injection at a total consideration of RMB200 million with the aim of developing it into an integrated high-end leisure and senior care project combining garden-style community planning, a family-style living environment, hotel standard services and professional healthcare services.

  The project is situated in Xinbang town in the Songjiang District of Shanghai which has been designated to be an area for developing leisure, tourism, sightseeing and senior care-related industries. The land has a site area of approximately 904 muNote, among which Shanghai Yayuan Hotel occupies approximately 30 mu. The project is located in close proximity to Shanghai-Hangzhou Highway and Shanghai-Jiaxing-Huzhou Highway, within a 20-minute drive from the Songjiang district government and a 50-minute drive from the Shanghai city centre and Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport. The project has an elegant environment with beautiful garden facilities such as a bird garden, Mirror Lake, a bamboo forest, and plum and cherry blossom forests, etc..
