(9 September 2012 – Guangzhou) The 10th anniversary celebration of Nan"ao Experimental School Affiliated with Beijing Normal University was held. Various leaders including Mr. Guo Zining, CEO of Aoyuan Group and Chairman of the Nan"ao School Council, Mr. Lu Botao, Honorary President of the Alumni Association (Guangdong) of Beijing Normal University and former president of Guangdong Provincial Higher People"s Court, Dr. Wu Zhongkui, Vice President of Beijing Normal University Zhuhai Campus and doctoral supervisors, Mr. Chen Chuanyu, Chairman of the Alumni Association (Guangdong) of Beijing Normal University and former deputy mayor of Guangzhou, Mr. Zhang Zhiyong, party secretary of Education Bureau in Panyu District, Mr. Wu Yuedong, Deputy Director of Education Bureau in Panyu District, Ms. Huang Xuehong, the Director of Division of Civilian-run Education of Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Education as well as over 70 representatives from Aoyuan Group, Beijing Normal University, Alumni Association of the Beijing Normal University, the education and administrative authorities of Panyu District and Guangzhou, other schools, kindergarten and parents" association participated on invitation to the activities on that day

To pass on the rich cultural heritage of Beijing Normal University and adhere to the advanced educational philosophy, as an activity for the series of 10th anniversary celebration, there was an unveiling ceremony for the statue of Mr. Lin Liru, a well-known educator in China and the first president of Beijing Normal University after the founding of the Republic in that afternoon, the ceremony was held in the lobby on the first floor of the school building. The ceremony was presided over by the Mr. Zheng Tiejun, the party branch secretary of Nan"ao Experimental School and the principal. After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the leaders and guests also visited the school history museum "Zhuoya Xuan". The school history museum fully displayed the course of the establishment, development and growth of the school and showed the fruitful school and cultural life of teachers and students

In the evening, appreciation reception and a variety show celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the founding of school were held in Aoyuan Golf Hotel and Guo Ziling, the CEO addressed at the cocktail party. Mr. Guo commended the Nan"ao Experimental School Affiliated with Beijing Normal University for its advanced educational philosophy and educational sentiment and fully recognized the stable growth of the school over the decade and the achievements obtained in quality education. He hoped that all the staff and students of the school would make persistent efforts, so that they will not only be the vanguard of quality education in Panyu and Guangzhou, but also in Guangdong or even in China. To acknowledge Aoyuan Entreprise for its generous effort in running school and its education spirit, the Alumni Association (Guangdong) of Beijing Normal University presented to Aoyuan Group calligraphy works. Mr. Chen Chuanyu, Chairman of the Alumni Association (Guangdong) of Beijing Normal University enthusiastically praised the significant results achieved by the Nan"ao Experimental School in the reform process of quality education. Dr. Wu Zhongkui recalled the hardship and happiness in founding the Nan"ao Experimental School 10 years ago affectionately, he took great pride in witnessing the continuous growth of Nan"ao Experimental School over the decade.

At 8pm that night, a variety show celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the founding of school in which everyone was looking forward to began, a passionate and fervid song ,"Lingnan Hong Feng" (嶺南雄風) opened the prelude of the variety show, the teachers and students sang and danced so as to celebrate the 10th anniversary together. Almost 100 teachers, students and parents combined music, poetry and paintings together, they emotionally performed verse speaking of "Nan"ao, Wo Mei Li De Jia Yuan" (南奧，我美麗的家園). Wonderful programmes such as the medley of Chinese and foreign songs with the theme like "Xiao Long Ren"(小龍人), "Jing Feng Yue Yun" (京風粵韻), "Jie Ri Huan Ge" (節日歡歌), plays from the English textbook "Cinderella" (Nan"ao version) and "You Yi Wu Jie" (友誼無界) condensed the fruitful and colourful school life of the Nan"ao students into the moment of passion,  the atmosphere was joyful and feverish. Some Nan"ao alumni who have graduated for years made a special trip back to the alma mater and performed on stage in order to show their affectionate blessings for the 10th anniversary of the alma mater. Every blessing and song carries the dream of education of people of Aoyuan and the profound affection of the teachers and students.
