The so-called healthy housing is on the base of meeting the basic elements of residential construction, to enhance the health element, protect the residents" physical, mental, moral, social adaptation, and other multi-layered health requirements, promote sustainable development of residential construction, further improve housing quality and create a comfortable, healthy living environment. There are two mandatory targets for healthy housing, namely, the health of living environment and the health of social environment, in which, living environment includes residential environments, residential environment, air environment, thermal environment, acoustic environment, light environment, water environment, greening environment, environmental health and others; social environment includes settlements" social function, settlements" psychological environment, fitness system, health care system, public health system, culture and upbringing system, social insurance system, healthy actives, health and property management, etc.

Zhongshan Aoyuan has always committed to creating healthy housing; as early as May 2009, Zhongshan Aoyuan submitted an "application for healthy residential construction pilot project" to National Housing and Living Environment Research Center to express the company"s confidence and determination in the implementation of health housing in coastal areas, which received the support from center. In April 2010, the National Housing and Living Environment Engineering Research Center officially approved "Zhongshan Aoyuan·The Aegean" project as a healthy housing pilot project, and signed a "mission statement for Healthy Housing pilot project", from the two aspects of physical health and mental health, set a clear goal in the settlements" environment, air quality, acoustic environment, light environment, thermal environment and others.

In this return visit of healthy housing, the experts focused on the inspection about Aegean area"s construction quality, the implementation of technical measures, and community"s greening environment, to see whether they are compliance with high standards of goals set in mission statement for healthy housing project. Expert panel was quite satisfied about the construction quality and health indicators of the Aegean. During the inspection, all the experts were full of praise about this housing estate, yearning for the residence here, which increased the confidence of Aoyuan people about the limitless potential of the Aegean.

In the morning of September 23, Zhongshan Aoyuan held a technical meeting with experts. Firstly, a detail reports about all aspects of Aegean project was given by our side, particularly on the completion of healthy housing targets. After hearing the reports, the experts spoke highly of the project and also made some suggestions, proposing higher and more stringent requirements for creating a "healthy housing" in the Zhongshan Aoyuan·The Aegean. General Manager of Zhongshan Aoyuan, Mr. Yang Guofeng, appreciated the high praise and valuable advice from the experts.
