Aoyuan·The Metropolis won the honorable title of UN-Habitat "Ecological Technology Best Practices Award"
Professor Edward·Sige Ruggs, vice chairman of global UN-Habitat best practice experts committee, Ph.D. Economics in School of Government Administration of North Carolina University; Mr. Wang Songpei, the committee member of experts in United Nations Industrial Development Organization China investment Promotion Department green industry, vice-chairman of Chinese Ecological Economics Association, experts of outstanding contributions allowance of the State Council; Mr. Wang Dong, Secretary-General of the Chinese real estate overall standings Organizing Committee. The person mentioned above came to Shenyang Aoyuan·The Metropolis, on behalf of global UN-Habitat Best Practices Expert Committee and the Organizing Committee of the Chinese real estate overall standings, they issued "UN-HABITAT Ecological Technology Best Practices Award" to Aoyuan·The Metropolis. Aoyuan·The Metropolis, represented by general manager Mr. Tao Liqun, accepted the medal of "UN-HABITAT Ecological Technology Best Practices Award" of Aoyuan from two experts.
In the same noon, Professor Edward·Sige Ruggs and Professor Wang Songpei walked into sales center of Aoyuan·The Metropolis. The two experts visited and investigated eight new green energy saving technologies including fresh air, which were used in Aoyuan·The Metropolis. The two experts put forward questions to Aoyuan continually, and each time they got a satisfactory answer.
Aoyuan·The Metropolis received the project approval in 2009, started in April 8, 2010, then, the open of prototype room in October 18, and 24-hour replacement of fresh air and other green technologies showed by Aoyuan·The Metropolis attracted thousands of Shenyang people thus to become a fan. The subscription amount of Aoyuan·The Metropolis reached 460 million Yuan in less than a month. When Professor Edward·Sige Ruggs and Mr. Wang Songpei visited here, the sand table and reception seats were surrounded by people for consulting.
After having a deeper understanding about Aoyuan·The Metropolisand and Aoyuan Group, Professor Edward·Sige Ruggs praise "Aoyuan is the pioneer of low-carbon buildings in China", he said, "This honor is awarded not just to Aoyuan·The Metropolis, but also to the future of Shenyang". Mr. Wang Songpei said, "the prototype of Aoyuan·The Metropolis has a valuable meaning, which is the prototype of green and healthy housing in future Shenyang".
