(8 Sep 2008 – Guangzhou) 2008 "Nansha Aoyuan Cup" Charity Basketball competition was held in Jiaomenhe Community Sports Center. The competition is a celebration for the National Day and a charity donation for earthquake-hit schools. It was completely sponsored by Nansha Aoyua and co-organized by Nansha district sports bureau, district civil administration bureau, and reginal charity federation.
It was to celebrate the achievement of our athletes in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. In a mean time, it was to advocate the regional sports activity of Nansha area. More than 30 teams from over 30 enterprises in Nansha participated in the competition. The number of athletes mounted over 300.
