Aoyuan finds a new path for commercial real estate development together with business elites

(5 June 2013 – Guangzhou) Organized by Aoyuan Group, "Enjoy new commercial real estate"- press conference of Aoyuan Group"s commercial real estate strategy and business elites summit was held at Guangzhou Aoyuan Golf Hotel on 5 June.
The "Five New Measures" have been introduced for more than a hundred days. The Chinese property market is undergoing a new round of adjustments. The most apparent change is that property developers have gradually shifted to target at commercial real estate. The experiential wave of new commercial real estate
In his speech in the Summit as the host, Aoyuan Group"s Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Yang Zhong, mentioned that Aoyuan has adhered to the strategy of "the double-track commercial and residential development" in recent years. Aoyuan developed four product series: "medium and large scale business malls, themed commercial streets with community facilities, high-end business apartment offices, regimen business" and the philosophy of "Sales as backbone with holding of commercial real estate in supplementary role and more focus on after sales operation". We believe that the establishment of Aoyuan Plaza, a fine commercial brand, is only the beginning of Aoyuan"s commercial property upgrading.
Dr. Yu Lai (chief expert of MALL China development committee, Deputy Director General of China Committee of the Asian Council of Shopping Centres) and Li Jian (CEO of Winstep China Commercial Real Estate Group) made speeches on "Opportunities and Challenges in Commercial Real Estate Development" and "Development Opportunities of City Railways and Experiential Business" respectively. On the different problems now encountered in the development of commercial real estate,the two experts provided a sustainable solution to commercial real estate from different perspectives. Business leaders and academics both thought that experiential consumption has already become the lifeline of commercial real estate and commercial operation as consumer demand is increasing,especially the rapid development of e-commerce. Demands for material and cultural consumption of leisure, sports, social, entertainment, catering, education and training can only be met by experiential consumption and experiential service. Meanwhile, consumer demand for shopping environment has been on the rise. Taking this into account, "experiential business" has become the strategy for commercial real estate developers and business operatrs to cope with drastic market changes together. Aoyuan"s brand new strategy in commercial real estate
In this Summit,the Aoyuan Group announced the blueprint for Aoyuan"s development in commercial real estate and made recommendations of iconic commercial projects. Dr. Yu Lai (Deputy Director General of China Committee of the Asian Council of Shopping Centres) conferred the title of "Demonstration project of experiential business in China" to Aoyuan City Landmark.
