The judges of the finals included Professor Zou Yongcui,  National Class 1 actor (entitled to special allowances from the  State Council), member of Guangdong Drama Association, Civilian General of China People"s Liberation Army; Professor Mu Hong, instructor of master students and department head of National Vocal Music at Xinghai Conservatory of Music and Chairman of Guangzhou Tianhe Musician Association;  Dong Jianli, famous young musician and composer; Cao Hua, associate professor of Vocal Study at South China Normal University;   Chen Hui, music instructor at Guangdong Women"s Polytechnic College; and Hu Xianglong, team leader of Aoyuan Troupe.

Since the official launch of the "Aoyuan Plaza·Li Stage" Talent Contest , starting from the first open audition on March 30, thousands of contestants from Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhuhai and Panyu,  numerous professional troupes,  various arts organizations and communities, from the age of 3 to 76, have taken part in the contest.

Through layers of selection by open auditions, weekly contests and monthly contests, a total of 18 contestants entered into the finals.  After detailed reviews for each contestant in aspects including musical works, performance and arrangement by the judges and upon fierce competition, Cai Xueling, contestant no. 133, Li Xinjun, contestant no. 33, and Guan Ziling, contestant no. 259, won the champion, the first runner-up and the second runner-up at the finals, and were awarded prizes of RMB10,000, RMB 5,000 and RMB 3,000, respectively as well as honorary certificates. The champion Miss Cai Xueling received an employment contract for a music teacher position at the Nan’ao Experimental School Affiliated with Beijing Normal University which was awarded by Mr. Guo Zi Ning, the committee secretary and chairman of the Group at the venue.

The "Aoyuan Plaza·Li Stage" Talent Contest campaign has become a platform, which brings together high popularity and the most gorgeous stars, for the general public and art lovers to pursuit dreams and show their talents. Arousing vigorous feedbacks, it has become a well-known cultural brand receiving positive comments from the public.
