Aoyuan Plaza"s "Trendy Summer" Seasonal Promotion Kicked off at Press Conference

(19 July 2013—Guangzhou) Press conference and launching ceremony of "Trendy Summer(夏·時尚)" seasonal promotion of Aoyuan Plaza was held in the atrium of Aoyuan Plaza. Pan Jinchuan, General Manager of Aoyuan Department Store and Kang Xiongqing, Manager of Commercial Management Department of Aoyuan Assets Company attended the press conference as representatives. Upon activation by a crystal ball, the Aoyuan Plaza seasonal promotion event named "Trendy Summer" kicked off. The event was fully reported by numerous media including Guangdong Television, Guangzhou Television, Panyu Television, Panyu Radio, the Southern Daily and the Panyu Daily.
On the press conference, Mr Pan Jinchuan explained that "Trendy Summer" is the theme of a series of summer events in this seasonal promotion. Through creative designs, gathering and communication as well as culture and arts, the promotion aims at communicating the new concept of trendy, healthy, quality and pleasurable urban living to every single customer of Aoyuan Plaza with a view to demonstrate the open, accommodating, and modern face of the plaza.
Mr Kang Xiongqing explained in details regarding the 4 sub-themes, namely "Fashionable Summer", "Gather in Summer". "Charming Summer" and "Priviledged Summer". He explained that the event, centered on "trendiness", is providing various diversified events including pop music shows, cultural and art exhibition, trendy tips seminar, creative bazaar for university students and various games and activities of fun. These will allow Aoyuan Plaza to break through the pattern of a conventional shopping mall and become a theme park for customers, a platform for communication and a place for family gathering. 
At the end of the event was an exciting music show by Toy Captain, an original Canton band which would perform at the night band show ("潮拍打BAND") organized by Aoyuan Plaza on 28 July. 
Since opening in the end of last year, Aoyuan Plaza has organized various corporate promotion events which achieved excellent results and were well received and supported by customers. In particular, we launched a huge promotional lottery draw during the "1st May" labour day vacation, which marked the highest single-day turnover since opening of the plaza. On 1st June the children"s day, Aoyuan organized various activities favoured by kids, marking a record high in the number of visits in a single day since opening. We believe this large scaled seasonal promotion event of "Trendy Summer" will bring a fresh wave of impacts on Aoyuan Plaza.
