On 19th Sep 2009, Chongqing Aoyuan·City of Health celebrated China"s 60th anniversary with a singing competition. With its large-scaled, thoughtful organization and creativity, this successful singing competition helped Aoyuan gained the society"s high reputation.

Spectacular scene of thousands of people queuing to form words
The singing competition was hosted on the man-made beach outside the Sales Centre of Chongqing Aoyuan·City of Health. As the color red is always considered as a lucky color among Chinese, the beach became a "red beach" because of the red canopies and red-dressed crowds. Thousands of participants gradually assembled together and got ready for the competition.
At 2pm a spectacular scene appeared on the Main Street of the community. Participants used the most unique way to express their gratitude and good wishes to our country by thousands of people queuing together to form the words of "Celebration to China"s 60th Anniversary from Chongqing Aoyuan·City of Health".

A wonderful show from 20 participating teams
There were 20 teams participated in the singing competition. Participants from various districts and different occupations (including engineers, doctors and workers) had given their best performance during the competition. Varieties of shows were performed such as dancing and recital accompanied with piano, accordion, flute and other musical instruments and participants dressed in ordinary clothes, army uniforms and folk clothing were also an eye-catching point. Everyone felt that the meaning in participating such meaningful event was far greater than winning the contest itself.

Giant Cake, thousands of people dining together
The occurrence of the Giant Cake led the event to its climax. The Giant Cake was a 3-tier cake tower topping with characters of "Wishes to China"s 60th Anniversary from Aoyuan·City of Health". The square cake base was 4-5m-long which required 7-8 people to carry.
Then a hundred of peers lit the candles, presented their wishes by singing songs, followed by thousands of people dining together for celebration.

Amazing Personal Singing Solo
The solo singing contest started at 7:00pm. The participants took turns and delivered amazing performance with the cheers of friends and relatives. After an intense contest, the winners of this competition were awarded.
After JinZhongLv-Miss Bikini Contest, this singing competition was another important event which was hosted by Chongqing Aoyuan. Such magnificent event demonistrated Aoyuan"s sincere wishes and gratefulness to the country, and the event clearly showed Aoyuan"s contributions to the achievement of "Harmonious Chongqing, Active Chongqing and Healthy Chongqing". This event also helped Aoyuan gained the community"s high attention, and it was also believed that the event will help Aoyuan have a good future development in Chongqing.
